Virtual Visits

Evolve Direct Primary Care offers patients online virtual visits. Each virtual visit is conducted using HIPAA-compliant, secure video similar to Skype. All you need is internet access and a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Evolve Direct Primary Care believes virtual visits can be perfectly appropriate for several types of non-critical visits and follow-ups. Virtual visits allow a “face to face” consultation between our doctors and you, the patient.

Virtual visits eliminate the need to physically drive over and take time off from work. You can schedule virtual visits the same way a traditional visit is scheduled. When the scheduling a virtual visit, you will need to provide information about your symptoms in advance of the visit through the Evolve Medical scheduling application. Virtual visits will be conducted during normal clinic hours and during certain extended hours.

Please note that only members of Evolve Direct Primary Care may currently use virtual visits due to medical malpractice regulations. Also, virtual visits can only be conducted if the patient is within Maryland, as current Federal Rules still classify the practice of medicine where the patient is located.
