Lindsey Owens began her career working at University of Pittsburgh Western Maryland in High Level Care (Cardiac and Stroke) and Critical Care in 2015. She moved back to this area, where she was born and raised working at AAMC (now Luminis Health) Intensive Care Unit and then in pre, post and intra-operative surgical care nursing. Her education began with nursing degrees from Allegany College of Maryland (Associate of Science in Nursing) and Chamberlain University (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) before completing her Masters Degree of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2025.
Lindsey has gained experience in family practice, cardiovascular care, stroke care, intensive care (ICU), case management, eye care, and outpatient surgery. This diverse clinical background allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a wide range of healthcare settings. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Board as well as the Maryland Board of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioners.
Lindsey is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships with her patients. She believes that high-quality care extends beyond diagnosing conditions and developing treatment plans; it requires trust, open communication, and individualized attention to support the best possible outcomes.
She values preventative care and strives to partner with patients in making informed decisions about their health, empowering them with knowledge and guidance every step of the way.
Lindsey lives in Maryland and, outside of work, enjoys spending time with her family, her daughter Hannah, and their dog, Milo. She also enjoys traveling to her family property in Western Maryland, where she spends time hiking, fishing, and appreciating the outdoors.
