Evolve Direct Primary Care celebrated the Grand Opening of their new urgent care on Saturday September 20th with Mayor Mike Pantelides, representatives from the County Executive’s office and members of the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce. The event coincided with their Health Festival.
The afternoon kicked off from 12-4pm with Evolve’s Health Festival and included the following vendors: Pit Boys, Ruah Yoga, One Physical Therapy, Annapolis Nutrition with Jacquelyn Stern, Robeks, Lularoe of Maryland, Hands that Listen (massage), Ledos, The Children’s Museum, Fire trucks, Ambulances, Face Painting with Eric Roberge, Sno Cones, Larry Griffin and We Care and Friends, Rodan and Fields as well as health screenings from Evolve Direct Primary Care including free blood pressure and diabetes screening. Cholesterol screening and Flu shots were also provided at cost.
A raffle to benefit Annapolis Wellness House capped off the event with prizes including 5 yoga sessions and a yoga mat from Ruah Yoga, one year free membership to Evolve Direct Primary Care Urgent Care and Primary Care, Pilates on the Bay, Palate Pleasers and Kelley Sullivan’s Medispa. Winners were thrilled!
The Urgent Care Grand Opening ribbon cutting began at 3pm with ribbon cutting by Mayor Mike Pantelides, who also presented a City Council Citation from the City of Annapolis which reads “On behalf of the citizens of theCity of Annapolis, in appreciation of your outstanding commitment to a higher level of service and new revolution in health care, we are pleased to confer upon you this CITY COUNCIL CITATION in recognition of your grand Opening. Given Under Our Hands and the Great Seal of the City of Annapolis this 20th day of September, 2014.
Next, the County Executive’s office presented and Executive Citation that reads “In recognition of your ribbon cutting ceremony and for the contributions you, as an employer, are making to the economic growth of the County and the State of Maryland. We extend to you our sincere congratulations and best wishes for a long and prosperous partnership with Anne Arundel County” signed by Laura Neuman, County Executive.
